Prashant Miranda

Prashant Miranda grew up in Bangalore, studied animation film design at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad and moved to Canada soon after. He is an avid traveler, and documents his life through sketches and watercolours, having built an extraordinary collection of 300+ journals that continues to grow. He also makes animation films, teaches visual art, illustrates children’s books and paints murals. His travels in India, recorded through his art, have been the subject of a National Geographic documentary. Prashant’s art draws from nature, people and spaces, and has been exhibited internationally to great acclaim.
