Suchitra Das

Suchitra Das specialises in the Kalighat style of painting, and learned her craft from
Anwar Chitrakar, the renowned Bengal Pattachitra artist. She is drawn to the graceful
lines, human interactions and light-hearted themes that are the hallmark of the
Kalighat school. While staying true to the traditional techniques, Suchitra also adds
her own interpretations to her work.
