BARO ART has long championed the belief that everyone has the right to discover, know and feel moved by any kind of art. For the last four years, we have introduced hundreds of people to art of every kind : from unknown beginners in Bombay to Masters in Bastar, from traditional forms that have come down centuries to wild and individualistic abstract expressions, from Venkat Shyam’s Gond imagination to FN Souza’s decadent eye...

We have answered questions, opened eyes, created a space that is warm and welcoming and - most of all - tried to share the magic that happens with a piece of art that captivates your soul. Most heartening of all, we’ve brought the joy of art within reach of thousands of people across India.

To mark this journey, we present a unique showcase of one-of-a-kind works from some of our favourite artists. Here is a collection of sixteen exceptional works from sixteen remarkable artists; works in which they each challenge their own conventions, to discover new worlds that they invite us to glimpse.
