Sukhiram Maravi

From Bhusanda village to Bhopal, Sukhiram’s journey represents determination and grit. Alongside his talented wife Manti Bai, he has spent eight years building a Gond art enterprise. He paints on paper, cloth, canvas, and has also created three-dimensional animal forms—making his repertoire of materials diverse and rich. He has also started receiving commissions for painting interior spaces after six months of design mentorship through Project Tarasha. Sukhiram underwent the Digital Skill and Business Development modules through Project Tarasha. His refined sense of color sets his work apart—where earlier he used only primary hues, he now applies a distinctive and sophisticated palette. He’s experimented extensively with acrylic color washes and textured techniques, which have become his signature and led to successful sales. He is open to working on new and exciting projects. The artworks developed during the mentorship are on display.
