Chetana Sudame
Chetana’s work draws deeply from Indian folk art traditions, particularly Miniature paintings
and Madhubani, with a strong influence of storytelling woven throughout. Her paintings
explore the feminine in its many social and psychological dimensions, using acrylics on
canvas and mixed media on paper.
With a background in Environmental Science, Chetana’s artistic journey is shaped by her
academic diversity and extensive travels. She has studied at J.J. School of Art and Raheja
School of Art in Mumbai, and pursued a course in Drawing and Painting at the Slade School
of Art, University College London.
