Shalu Juneja

Shalu Juneja is a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Ahmedabad, working across mixed media on canvas and paper, stoneware murals, and ceramic sculpture. Her practice is rooted in themes of impermanence, material transformation, and the fleeting nature of the natural world.

Through processes such as bleaching, burning, rusting, cyanotype printing, and layered textural painting, Juneja allows materials to change, erode, and evolve over time. These intuitive and unpredictable methods mirror emotional states and the passage of time. Her imagery remains open-ended and evocative, inviting viewers to engage with uncertainty and discover their own narratives within the work.
