"Twist & Flow" splits pale yellow and deep teal tones, transforming urban architecture into fluid, wavy reflections across a curved glass facade. Amidst the abstract, liquid grid, a lone figure peering from a window gives a grounded heart to the swirling city scene.
With roots in Delhi and Punjab and having lived and worked across different parts of Maharashtra, Vandana Krishna’s artistic sensibility has been shaped by a diverse cultural landscape.
Her artistic practice moves fluidly between figuration and abstraction, often placing figures within atmospheric landscapes or layered environments, inviting viewers to find their own meaning within the work. The artist is fascinated by the emotional depth that can emerge from everyday moments. Her recent works explore the urban landscape of Mumbai—its glass façades, open skies, and rain-soaked streets—using reflection as both a visual motif and a metaphor for perception, memory, and inner experience.
