The trip - is a dream - of traveling and exploring the wild, inside and outside. “Who are you, in the wild?”- it asks.
This painting is a part of a series called “Gods of Leisure”- explores leisure as both sacred and human — a site of alchemy, transcendence and restoration. With intimate moments in magical landscapes- it frames rest and observation of nature as essential, not optional.
With roots in textile and branding, Apoorva Lanka calls her style magical expressionism, drawing on animism, experimental sociology and generational displacement.
Her oil paintings are archives of recurring dreams, inherited stories and fleeting intimacies—an invitation for the observer to step into their own rewilding.
