A brilliant example of how the traditional Kerala style of architecture was affected by the colonial influences. This palace was built by the Portuguese. The Dutch, who followed the Portuguese to Kochi, carried out some extensions and renovations in the palace in 1663.So it’s actually influenced by 3 cultures, love this about Kochi.
