everyday stories, spaces and people, with candour and wistfulness. 

Inside Out – Outside In explores Mumbai’s layered history, diverse cultures and evolving 
architecture through the windows of its homes. These windows are portals into the soul of the city where history and modernity coexist, but as skyscrapers replace older buildings, many iconic windows are disappearing. The work is also a metaphor for the duality of perspective; just as windows allow us to look out, so also they offer outsiders a glimpse within. Each window becomes a canvas through which life in Mumbai is framed and reframed, both inspiring and retelling its ever-evolving story.
