Banoo Batliboi is a self-taught paper artist who re-imagines books into extraordinary paper sculptures. She begins by precisely folding the pages of a book in unique ways, then photographs her creations on a reflective surface. Through this transformation, she make us see books in entirely new ways.
 
Biblio Blue Angel is composed of two images - one placed on top of the other, creating 
diaphanous layers. Blue 'wings' fan out from the centre and the light emanating from within makes Banoo think of something heavenly.
